About the lab

The Living Systems Lab™️ is a container for applied leadership practice

You arrive with a real challenge from your organization. Over five weeks, spanning two in-person days and four online sessions, you design and implement a leadership experiment supported by expert facilitation and a small peer cohort.

The Living Systems Lab™️ draws on somatic practice, arts-based learning, systems thinking, and collective wisdom as working tools for leaders navigating mission-driven organizations, where technical expertise alone is no longer enough.

Offered by the Providence Institute of Transformative Leadership at Saint Paul University (SPU), extending SPU’s decade of transformative leadership education into professional practice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Real work.

Real challenges.

Real change.

  1. Bring a real leadership challenge from your organization and work through it – with facilitation, peer support and integrated somatic and arts-based practice.
  2. Design and implement a leadership experiment in your organization, supported across both intesive days and the four online sessions.
  3. Develop your capacity to lead from self-awareness and inner coherence – not just technical expertise or role authority.
  4. Build collective wisdom with a small cohort of peers from across sectors, all navigating the same complexity you are.
  5. Leave with a leadership practice you can sustain and a community of practice to sustain it with.
